We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for our Search and Recommendations team.

Search and recommendations are the core of modern e-commerce. This part of the product helps our users to find what they need through our catalog in multiple countries. Our goal is to help them do it quickly and also help users to understand what they need before they can formulate it precisely.

Search and recommendations are also used to manage visibility of items, they are main points for users to discover new assortments, that’s why the ability to show the right thing for the right client is crucial for us. We use elastic search as a basis, we have an internal search team and external ML consultants, we use third-party tools for recommendations and developing LTR for existing search right now.

This team generates a significant share of business revenue, and we are looking for a PM who will be able to lead and scale our Search.

You've got

  • 5+ years of experience. We are looking for a PM who knows all baseline pm stuff, from stakeholder management and scrum routines to GA4 and user interviews. We expect that you already know this. We will help and train you if needed, but we are not looking for beginners.
  • E-commerce background. You know what conversion rate means, how product detail pages can contribute to AOV and are familiar with modern trends in this area. We will guide but we expect that you know the basics. You also know the search and recommendation role and specifics in e-commerce.
  • Date driven. You know how to measure things, you have experience in setting up and monitoring key metrics for your product. You know specific ways to measure search efficiency.

It will be an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in Search domain, knowledge of discovery practices and best practices.
  • Experience with ML pipelines and understanding how to derive value from ML.

Goals:

  1. 3 months: Connect to basic processes and routines, catch up on current projects.
  2. 6 months: Optimize LTR pipelines, reach +10% CTR@10 in selected countries. Prepare a roadmap for tests on visibility scenarios (new + promo boost + monetization).
  3. 12 months: Improve CR for Search sessions by 30%.
