Since 2009, Finance in Motion has invested over EUR 5.4 billion across various regions. The company also provides technical assistance to maximize impact and promote responsible finance.

Due to its success, the company is seeking a Chief Engineer (Solar/Wind) (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer with experience in Eastern European greenfield and brownfield renewable energy projects
• Development, engineering, design review, and technical oversight of wind and PV projects
• Manage project development engineering activities
• Ensure alignment with environmental, health, and safety policies
• Establish engineering standards and specifications for wind and PV projects
• Support site selection and project acquisitions
• Review and approve work of technical consultants
• Manage activities of designers, consultants, and contractors
• Prepare and review technical documents and proposals
• Contribute to engineering capabilities and project management processes
• Coordinate with teams on energy models, electrical schematics, and layouts
• Conduct cost analyses and monitor technical regulations
• Lead procurement projects and support business development
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and supplier coordination

What we expect:

• Bachelor's/Master's in relevant engineering fields
• Proficiency in English and CEE language
• Interdisciplinary engineering experience, preferably in wind or solar PV
• Experience in project management, supply chain, and procurement
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
