Job Description

We are managing an offshore wind farm on the high seas. As an offshore troubleshooter, you will work with a dedicated team to ensure the smooth and safe operation of Siemens Gamesa SWT 3.6 offshore wind turbines at the Amrumbank West wind farm, located 35 km off Heligoland.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform maintenance on wind turbines to maximize availability.
  2. Analyze and rectify electrical and mechanical faults on Siemens SWT-3.6 & SWT-4.0 turbines.
  3. Supervise and coordinate external contractors, focusing on work quality, content, and safety.
  4. Document all work in electronic systems such as SAP and Fluix.
  5. Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations during maintenance, repair, and inspections.
  6. Promote team spirit and cooperation.
Requirements
  1. Completed training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
  2. Extensive experience troubleshooting Siemens SWT-3.6 and SWT-4.0 turbines offshore.
  3. Strong team spirit, proactive attitude, accuracy, and structured work approach.
  4. Willingness to work on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) or on Heligoland island.
  5. Knowledge of wind turbine and control systems, and switching authorization in 33kV/66kV is advantageous.
  6. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  7. Willingness to work offshore on a 14-day rotation.
  8. Suitability for offshore work and comfort with heights.
