Jobbeschreibung

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues.
  2. Lead and participate in quality reviews and governance meetings with second-level management (Directors).
  3. Perform data analysis and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance.
  4. Lead, plan, and execute high-complexity and cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  5. Define corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers.
  6. Review and approve quality forms (e.g., dropship).
  7. Manage RNC / VRNC Q & tasks requiring MRB approval.
  8. Provide technical support and coaching to team members and stakeholders.
  9. Lead and manage DMM during the leader's absence.
  10. Participate in executive meetings and PMR with suppliers.
  11. Coach and train suppliers on our quality tools.
  12. Act as a delegate for the Director on quality matters and in Director’s meetings.
  13. Participate in defining strategic plans for the department as a mentor.
Requirements:
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102).
  • Commodity experience with systems.
  • Working knowledge of CMM inspection; ability to interpret inspection report data related to manufacturing requirements.
  • General knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards.
  • Proficiency in inspection practices and tools such as CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges, and calipers.
  • Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Discus (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Net Inspect.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; flexibility and creativity required.
  • Knowledge of GD&T.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace.
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and enhance team efficiency and capability.
  • Develop and deploy solutions for complex issues.
  • Strategize communication of decisions.
  • Perform risk analysis for complex solutions.
  • Work independently as an expert role model.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members.
