To strengthen our Digital Services & Operations Unit, we are looking for a new Lead for the Business Solutions team who will drive our digital transformation with innovation and strategic thinking. You will lead one of the central teams focussing on the implementation of digital solutions to take our work processes to the next level. You will work closely with different areas of Welthungerhilfe and, based on their needs and requirements, develop customised solutions that really make a difference. Your responsibilities

• You will lead and manage the team of Application Managers of our core business applications (e.g. SAP, Salesforce) and, as a Service & Operations Expert, be responsible for the operation of business-critical applications in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Human Resources and Project Portfolio Management
• As a technology expert, you will take on the technical management of organisation-wide digital transformation and migration projects and play a key role in the development of the future application architecture
• You will act as the first point of contact and IT and process consultant for the project and product managers, involve other experts at appropriate times and ensure coordinated solutions.
• As a member of the transformation project steering and core teams, you will ensure that overarching, business-critical goals are achieved.
• In the event of difficulties, obstacles and other project risks, you take care of coordinated solutions.
• You take responsibility for analysing and evaluating project requirements and stakeholders
• Together with the project teams, you identify and realise potential for optimisation and consolidation of the applications and systems introduced
• You take on the challenge of finding and implementing solutions for combined business and technical problems
• You support our external service providers and consultants and take on the technical coordination

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a master's or diploma degree, e.g. (business) computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• You have relevant experience in handling complex IT projects
• You are familiar with the classic SAP modules (FI / CO, MM, HR, BI) and the SAP authorisation system, ideally have experience in the SAP S / 4 HANA environment and are not afraid of migrating an SAP system
• At best, you can supplement your IT project experience with sound business expertise
• You enjoy the structured understanding of complex and abstract relationships in IT and organisational systems
• You see yourself as a go-getter with enthusiasm for digital change and have knowledge of agile methods
• You enjoy working with different people and teams and are not fazed by resistance in the context of change processes
• You are able to familiarise yourself spontaneously and flexibly with new fields and situations and have a very independent working style and assertiveness
• A certification in process optimisation methods (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) would be a desirable addition to your portfolio
• You are looking forward to enriching our motivated team with your expertise, energy and humour
• We expect you to be confident with Office 365
• You have a good command of written and spoken English - our team is international and the working language is (mostly) English. German language skills are an advantage
