Serving as part of the test lab team, you will test newly developed products designed by our product design engineers and created by the prototyping team—putting the products to the test and ensuring that the end product meets customer specifications. You will also test and evaluate new or alternative uses for existing product lines to meet various customer requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute various lab test activities according to requirements.
2. Coordinate and set priorities within the test lab team.
3. Carry out functional tests according to customer and internal DVPs/specifications, including analysis and documentation in reports and databases.
4. Collaborate with EMEA Engineering and Test Lab teams.
5. Ensure operational safety, process excellence, calibration/maintenance of test equipment, and certification audits.
6. Monitor results, including continuous improvement of test equipment, and define procedures and workflows.
7. Plan and monitor test budgets and costs.
8. Create user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs based on tools like PowerBI & PowerApps.
9. Parameterize and test sensors for data acquisition and analysis.
10. Support development of test software and hardware applications to achieve product and company goals.
11. Ensure all data and technologies are cloud-compatible.

Profile and Skills

1. University degree in technical sciences (e.g., mechatronics engineer, IT engineer), with additional training as an advantage.
2. At least two years of detailed knowledge in automotive testing methods and techniques, including evaluation of test results.
3. Experience with test-specific software is beneficial.
4. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, EtherCAT, Profinet, IO-Link).
5. Experience in creating user dashboards with tools like PowerBI & PowerApps.
6. Deep understanding of how different sensors work and transmit data.
7. Ability to adapt in a fast-moving, technical environment.
8. Fluent German & English skills (at least C1, written and verbal) for functioning effectively in a German-language work environment.
