Jobbeschreibung

For this position, you need to be based in the Frankfurt area, Dresden, or Leipzig.

Develops clinical education materials in connection with clinical investigations, including providing education and clinical insights on the device, procedure, and protocol throughout the life cycle of the clinical investigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify potential adoption strategies; responsible for upselling in key strategic accounts working in conjunction with Business Managers.
  2. Act as a lead in providing education on all aspects of two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology of assigned device(s), device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools, and products required for device implants, including full certification for independent case support for field clinical specialists.
  3. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to investigational products and procedures, including imaging, through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and structured in-service education programs on two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology.
  4. Develop and improve training curriculum, training materials, and training tools based on clinical trial experience, EW guidelines, and SOPs.
  5. Responsible for certification of centers, physicians, and related staff, as well as EW personnel, as outlined within EW SOP.
  6. Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
  7. Monitor clinical support activities, market changes, assigned accounts, and competitive activity with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales).
  8. Perform other incidental duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field. Training experience in clinical/technical environment required.
  • 5 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience required.
Additional Skills:
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science.
  • Full understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology, including applications and the 'language' of the market and Edwards Lifesciences.
  • Full understanding of medical device regulatory requirements, documents, device accountability, and adverse events reporting.
  • Proficiency in imaging analysis software (e.g., 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.).
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Adherence to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and taking adequate control measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
