Sales Manager for an independent Vineyard

Overview

We have an excellent, newly created opportunity for an experienced German-speaking Salesperson with knowledge or a background in the Food and Drink industry, ideally in Wine, to assist in developing and growing our presence in the Swiss market.

The position reports to the General Manager of a historic, independent vineyard that has recently undergone modernization, based in Suisse Romande. Due to exciting growth plans, we are looking to expand our client base across German-speaking Switzerland.

This is a remote role requiring the candidate to be based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop clients and sales across the German-speaking regions of Switzerland.
  2. Provide support and advice to customers.
  3. Develop partnerships and participate in relevant wine industry events, such as fairs, exhibitions, and parties.
  4. Bring at least 3 years of successful experience in developing business and sales within the Food and Drink industry, preferably in wine and spirits.
  5. Possess good knowledge or higher education in the wine sector.
  6. Establish strong working relationships with clients and companies in German-speaking Switzerland.
  7. Be fluent in Swiss German and German; proficiency in English or French is also required.
  8. Demonstrate excellent sales management and interpersonal skills.
  9. Be highly autonomous and dynamic.
