Your area of work:

The storage infrastructure of our trading, clearing, and risk systems is crucial for the sustainability of our Derivatives and Cash markets (Eurex & Xetra). In this role, you will manage and administer the Derivatives & Cash storage infrastructure, covering the entire value chain from development to production, including system installation, maintenance, and administration of Fibre Channel Switches and disk arrays in the Storage Area Network.

Your responsibilities:

  • Daily administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the storage environment.
  • Configuration of storage arrays with a focus on Linux Operating Systems and implementing Zoning on Fibre Channel infrastructure.
  • Capacity management of storage systems.
  • Collaborate with external support and manufacturers for design, setup, and maintenance of storage environments.
  • Support innovative IT projects.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, support on-call duties, and perform configuration changes outside of regular hours with appropriate compensation.

Your profile:

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in storage system administration, preferably in mission-critical environments.
  • Expertise in storage systems and technologies, ideally with Hitachi, NetApp, and Brocade Fibre Channel switches.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, supported by the company.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
