Job Title: Gelato Server
Location: Old Port Store in Portland, Maine
Position: 10-40 hours a week (your preference), for summer 2025
Target Pay: $15.50-17+/hr + tips (based on skills and experience)

Job Description:
Do you love gelato or coffee? Are you outgoing? Do you enjoy connecting with customers and exceeding their expectations? We’re seeking service team members to offer gelato samples and recommendations, scoop dishes, set up and take down gelato displays, meticulously clean at every opportunity, and brighten customers’ days. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the front of our store, with a focus on creating a memorable, high-quality customer experience. Employees may cross-train to serve at our Gelato Truck or catering events if interested.
Minimum requirements:

• One year of customer service experience preferred but not required. A desire to work diligently in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to customer needs.
• Be kind, poised, professional, and always show respect.
• Team-oriented mindset and coachability.
• Warm, friendly, and confident communication skills.
• 18+ years old preferred; enthusiastic 16-17-year-olds may be considered.
