Job Description:

This is a remote position and we're considering candidates in Germany only.

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research, and collaborate with Grafana leadership on refining your product’s goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with external customers and internal stakeholders. The teams you will work with are 100% remote and globally distributed, so proactive communication is essential.

Product Managers connect Engineering, Design, and Product Design to Go-To-Market. You facilitate the flow of information across these teams and should be technically proficient when representing our products to customers.

The Role

As the Product Manager for AI, you’ll oversee our AI offerings, including driving the roadmap and features. You will collaborate with Grafana’s R&D to promote AI, shape AI-enhanced workflows, and partner with other product teams to deliver features. You’ll develop a deep understanding of applying AI to address customer challenges in observability and help define how Grafana Labs can leverage AI to solve customer problems and grow revenue.

General responsibilities include:

• Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
• Empathize with customer problems to gather user needs, requirements, and pain points
• Represent user feedback to Engineering, supporting tradeoffs and priorities
• Work with Product Marketing to explain our platform’s differentiation, creating documentation, blog posts, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
• Use your product expertise to make decisions on go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering

We’re excited about you because you have:

• A BSBA/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in Product Management
• 3+ years working on a B2B SaaS product
• Experience with AI, ML, and GenAI
• A desire to work with complex solutions and highly technical products
• Experience partnering with Product Design for user experiences
• Experience working with engineering teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with Grafana Labs open source projects
• Experience with OpenTelemetry
• Experience building observability/monitoring tools or developer tools
• Experience with open source software or open source companies
• Experience with SaaS and self-managed products

The salary range in Germany for this role is EUR 91,464 - EUR 109,757. Compensation varies based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and others.
