What you would do as our Finance Business Partner (f/m/d) (Mechanical Core)

You will join the EMEIA Division as a Financial Controller for the Mechanical Core Segment. Your responsibilities include managing financial reporting and finance-led projects professionally and promptly, working closely with the EMEIA CFO, Mechanical Core Unit leaders, Program Management, R&D, and Regional Finance teams. You will report to the SVP & Head of Mechanical Core Business Segment EMEIA. Location options include Albstadt or Berlin, Germany, with alternatives in Stockholm, Sweden; Graz, Austria; Willenhall or Woking, UK; and Krakow, Poland.

Your key responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated Mechanical Core Financial Reports monthly/quarterly, ensuring accuracy and explaining variances.
• Harmonize P&L reporting formats.
• Manage annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Oversee budgets for R&D and Product Units.
• Develop processes for revenue consolidation within Mechanical Core, collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice on IFRS-based financial reporting, focusing on P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Act as a liaison between Business Areas, EMEIA, and Global HQ.
• Participate in acquisition/divestment processes.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects like new product development, business case reviews, and follow-ups.
• Prepare presentations for Executive Meetings, including Operational and Divisional Boards.

The skills and experience you need

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• University degree and ACA qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive finance experience, including budgeting, accounting, controlling, partnering, and reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and group accounting, with awareness of local standards differences.
• Experience in multinational companies and exposure to multiple European countries is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); Hyperion Financial Management experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in another major European language besides English is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and meet deadlines.
• Audit experience, internal or external, is advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the role.
