Job Description

The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of TK Elevator's six largest units. Its Regional Business Support Center is based in Dusseldorf, Germany, coordinating activities in over 20 countries and managing a distributor network in Africa. This unit handles the sale, installation, servicing, and modernization of elevators, escalators, and moving walks. In select markets, it also includes home lifts and automatic door services. In FY 2022/2023, the unit employed approximately 14,000 staff and generated sales of around 2.4 billion euros. We offer a challenging position that will test and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

1. Support the implementation of the Safety Transformation Program across regions.
2. Identify and prioritize critical risks leading to serious injuries or fatalities.
3. Serve as the main contact for market clusters regarding Serious Injury and Fatalities (SIF).
4. Ensure insights from incidents are understood and applied.
5. Assess the likelihood and impact of SIF events.
6. Develop strategies to mitigate risks through improved safety controls and training.
7. Collaborate with regional OSH managers to ensure consistent OSH standards implementation.
8. Evaluate suppliers and contractors for OSH compliance.
9. Promote continuous safety improvements through stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in complex work environments, including installation projects and subcontractor management.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and risk management.
• Proven incident investigation and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience leading distributed teams with subcontractors.
• Experience working in multicultural, multinational environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
