Join Our Team as a German-speaking Sales Manager in Bavaria

Do you want to be part of taking wood to new heights? We do too! Join us on our growth journey as we seek a German-speaking Sales Manager for the Bavaria region. Your role will involve leveraging existing relationships, creating new ones, and expanding our business in Germany, especially Bavaria.

Based on your excellent knowledge of the timber construction market’s characteristics and dynamics, you will identify new business opportunities and close sales with both existing and new customers. Additionally, you will ensure our sales pipeline remains well filled and work closely with our buying customers to close deals and manage their accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reintroduce customers to our brand and our new setup in the Bavaria region to increase brand awareness.
  2. Seek out existing users of our products (e.g., via DMH) and convert them into customers.
  3. Maintain CRM systems to manage and follow current project opportunities and potential clients.
  4. Manage your sales pipeline to achieve targets.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to create offers, process orders, and oversee product delivery.
We Value Your Experience in:
  • Mass timber design, estimating, or construction management.
  • Sales, marketing, or business development within the building/construction sector.
  • Technical understanding of wood construction.
  • Identifying customer needs and providing suitable solutions.
  • Customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Structured work approach and good self-management.
  • Team spirit and willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.).
  • Fluency in English and German.
Ideally, You Also Have:
  • Knowledge of national building codes and the construction value chain.
  • A strong network within the building industry.

This position reports to the Sales Director for Building Solutions Central Europe, Wood Products, Bernd Troppmann. You can work from your home office in Bavaria.
