Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Ingenieurwissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Mathematik, Physik oder Informatik.
• Langjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Software für sicherheitskritische Systeme.

Summary

For the department “Tracking & Multi Sensor Data Fusion” we are looking for a “Software Architect for Multi Sensor Data Fusion (f/m/d)” at the location Ulm or alternatively Immenstaad as soon as possible.

The “Tracking & Multi Sensor Data Fusion” department creates tracking and data fusion software for radar and system solutions in the air, land and sea based on a software module construction kit. The tasks of the department include the acquisition of new orders, system and software activities according to HENSOLDT specifications, test activities, support for research projects and support in software maintenance for radars that have already been delivered. This department works across divisions and locations.

Your Tasks

• Specification and development of multi-sensor data fusion software architectures and support of the development team during implementation as part of a European Detect and Avoid project
• Analysis of system and customer requirements
• Development of real-time capable algorithms for multi-sensor data fusion applications in large-scale projects
• Specification and implementation of design requirements for certifiable applications
• Use of modern software technologies (C++17/20, web technologies, Rust, git, Atlassian tools, CMake, catch2, sqlite, buildroot, ...)
• Planning and implementation of software development using agile methods
• Implementation of code reviews

Willingness to travel is required.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in engineering with a focus on mathematics, physics, computer science or comparable
• Many years of experience in the development of multi-sensor data fusion software in safety-critical systems (DO-178 / 278 or ISO 26262)
• Many years of proven practical experience in system engineering and system integration within complex large-scale projects
• Extensive experience in preparing and giving technical presentations to large national and international customer groups and cooperation partners
• Extensive process knowledge in the field of systems engineering and technical management
• Presentation skills, ability to build and maintain networks and assertiveness
• Analytical way of thinking and a high level of commitment
• Business fluent German and very good English skills
