What awaits you:

As EHS Manager Europe, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the EHS activities of all Novelis locations in Europe. You will take actions necessary to ensure the locations operate according to Novelis EHS values and beliefs. You will motivate, stimulate, and coach the locations to achieve good EHS results and strive for continuous improvement in EHS. Your detailed tasks include:

• Supporting and driving implementations of EHS strategies related to occupational health and workplace safety, emphasizing behavioral safety and culture transformation.
• Conducting analysis to identify common incident causal factors, trends, and developing initiatives targeting those factors.
• Performing internal benchmarking to identify best practices and developing EHS performance standards.
• Monitoring regulatory requirements and managing approval and tracking of EHS initiatives.
• Providing accident investigation and hazard recognition training at all levels, coaching leaders on EHS responsibilities.
• Reporting EHS performance to European management.
• Visiting all European plants routinely to monitor policies, practices, and conditions.
• Preparing and participating in EHS audits.
