Your mission

We are looking for a Business Developer with a focus on sales who focuses on developing new business opportunities. This includes working both externally with customers and internally as the voice of customers in the team.

  • You identify potential customers and carry out technology and market analyzes to develop new business opportunities
  • You understand the challenges of our customers and initiate projects with a consulting-oriented sales approach, which you lead to the point of commissioning
  • You will work closely with technical colleagues to outline our bespoke solutions to meet the customer needs you have penetrated
  • You maintain intensive relationships with all relevant stakeholders of our customers and coordinate our customer activities with your colleagues
  • Key Accounting: You ensure customer satisfaction even after project completion and identify and pursue sales opportunities with existing customers
  • You will maintain and update our CRM system to ensure contact and deal information is up to date

Your profile

Don't let yourself be put off by less experience or otherwise acquired qualifications. The following specific key points will help you to distinguish yourself though:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or another technical-economic subject, alternatively a technical or business degree or vocational training with relevant knowledge of the other subject area.
  • Experience in business development, consulting or sales as well as in the manufacturing industry, automation technology or technology companies in general.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills to explain complex concepts to different stakeholders in an understandable way
  • Success orientation and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner in a fast and agile environment.
  • Expertise in using CRM systems and MS Office
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
