Leon Cycle is an e-bike business established in Germany in 2014, with operations across over 10 countries in Europe, North America, and APAC. We offer a range of e-bike models including mountain bikes, EMTB, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes, and step-through e-bikes. Our products are sold through our online website, E-Commerce platforms, dealers, and retail stores worldwide.

As part of our growth and expansion, we are seeking experienced sales professionals to join us as Area Sales Managers for Hannover. The responsibilities of our Area Sales Manager include:

  1. Managing the Hannover Store
  2. Developing a network of bike dealers within the region for B2B sales through business development activities such as phone calls and dealer visits
  3. Maintaining, nurturing, and servicing existing and new dealers for pre-sales and after-sales support
  4. Taking responsibility for the full P&L of regional sales activities within the region and city
  5. Communicating with the Hannover team on operational matters including logistics, warehousing, sales operations, and forecasts
  6. Assisting with online customer shipping needs from the local region
  7. Leading and motivating the retail and sales team

The ideal candidate should exhibit:

  • 5-10 years of relevant sales and business development experience in sporting goods, consumer goods, or bikes/e-bikes industry, with preference given to those with e-bikes and electric mobility experience
  • Experience in establishing and developing a business sales network and retail operations
  • Strong self-discipline to work independently with a focus on sales results
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and German
  • Good knowledge of local retail operations
  • Experience in dealer network development is highly regarded
  • Experience in managing and driving P&L
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience is a plus
