Summary

For the “OMNI Detection” department, we are looking for a project manager for missile warning systems (f/m/d) at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.

The department is responsible for the product management of passive missile and laser warning systems for flying, primarily military platforms, as well as handling corresponding international customer and internal development projects.

The interdisciplinary project teams comprise members from finance, engineering, purchasing, quality, configuration management, production, and sales, operating in a national and international environment to achieve project goals and acquire new projects and customers.

Your Tasks
  1. Handling national and international customer projects in the area of missile warning systems for flying platforms
  2. Managing and ensuring cooperation of all necessary stakeholders in an international environment during the entire project phases
  3. Achieving project goals related to costs, time, and quality, including proactive risk & opportunity and claim & waiver management
  4. Initiating, controlling, and coordinating measures necessary to achieve goals across involved organizational units
  5. Supporting the planning and implementation of strategic tasks of the business unit, focusing on market-related product development, expanding market shares, and executing the strategy
  6. Supporting acquisition and creating offers based on customer inquiries to meet international growth targets
  7. Contributing actively to a positive team spirit and a strong corporate culture
Your Profile
  1. Completed university degree, preferably in engineering, industrial engineering, or business management, with several years of professional experience in project management
  2. Independent, solution-oriented work style and excellent communication skills
  3. Experience working in international teams and liaising with various organizational units and customers
  4. Confident demeanor in an international, military environment and during negotiations
  5. Experience managing complex military projects with multiple subcontractors
  6. Experience in preparing offers and negotiating contracts internationally
  7. Knowledge or experience in aerospace and/or defense, ideally with self-protection systems
  8. Fluent in German and English
