JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting career opportunity to join Commvault in a high-impact sales role. This role will be responsible for driving sales in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market space.

What you’ll do…

  • Manage sales and business execution of MSP Business.
  • Plan and execute business development strategies across Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams to achieve/exceed goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Customer Senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Commvault's Partner Ecosystem, including Alliances and Partners (with a focus on SP business), to grow and accelerate the business.
  • Utilize cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, and technical management.
  • Develop and execute organized business development plans.
  • Recruit, qualify, and close new Managed Services Providers (MSP) agreements within a defined set of accounts, resulting in new and recurring revenue.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans to expand MSP revenues through channels, field sales, and partnerships.
  • Work closely with field and channel resources to promote and sell MSP services to prospects and existing customers.
  • Articulate Commvault's value proposition effectively to both business and technical audiences within MSPs.
  • Coordinate joint sales engagements with senior engineers, manage field relationships, and enable channels to gather business requirements and build capabilities.
  • Participate in executive-level communications regarding sales metrics and strategies.

Who you are…

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of developing new business within an existing company infrastructure.
  • Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market plans for revenue growth.
  • Ability to lead teams and achieve results through others.
  • Ability to understand technology and communicate its value to prospects and partners, including concepts of data management and cloud services.
  • Experience in forecasting, achieving revenue targets, and developing quarterly briefings.
  • Understanding of business fundamentals and go-to-market strategies of service providers.
