Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Mission

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our talented team. Your work will play a crucial role in building RobCo into Europe’s leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector.
With over €50 million in funding from renowned VCs such as Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as the founders of UiPath, Helsing, Pitch, and other companies, we are well-positioned to bring our vision to life.

In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying software that powers our robotic systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, control system experts, and product managers to build robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Your experience in developing and shipping software in the robotics industry will be instrumental in driving the success of our product.

Responsibilities:

1. Full Stack Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain web and application interfaces for our robotics systems.
   • Build scalable back-end architectures with many clients.
2. Embedded and Robotics Software Development:
   • Develop and integrate software components for real-time control, navigation, and sensor processing.
   • Collaborate with the hardware team to ensure tight integration between software and hardware components.
3. End-to-End Software Delivery:
   • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
   • Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and system-level tests.
4. Collaboration and Leadership:
   • Mentor junior developers, share technical expertise, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
   • Work with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Your Profile

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a significant focus on robotics and hardware systems.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Vue.js and technologies like HTML5/CSS3/Typescript.
  • Familiarity with robotics frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Proficient with UNIX-based systems and working within the terminal.
  • Ability to write and execute end-to-end frontend and backend tests.
• Domain Knowledge:
  • Experience working with robotics hardware, sensors, and actuators.
  • Understanding of machine learning, computer vision, or control algorithms is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
