About the Team

Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program, including revitalization of 'Channel' applications for payment initiation. You will work on developing a global payment initiation platform with React-based micro frontends backed by Java micro-services deployed in containers. The platform uses Kafka for event streaming and various datastores such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, HBase, and MongoDB.

You will collaborate with other engineers on the platform, embracing agile practices to incrementally add functionality, with a focus on automation. You will partner with business and technology managers to define modules and enhancements that enable Deutsche Bank's clients to initiate payments in real time and access account balances & statements in near real time. You will help create a digital environment that fosters knowledge sharing and passion for our business. What You’ll Do

1. Design and develop new functionalities, participate in UX design.
2. Partner with UI/UX Design Team, Architects, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders across regions and time zones to understand requirements.
3. Learn and deepen your understanding of corporate bank cash business to grow as a subject matter expert.
4. Design and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols.
5. Improve existing processes and approaches in collaboration with QA teams.
6. Maintain hygiene, risk, control, and stability in all deliveries. Investigate and fix production incidents, and drive stability and monitoring improvements.

Skills You’ll Need

• Several years of Web UI development experience (HTML5, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React, Angular 4/5).
• Proficiency in functional programming concepts.
• Knowledge of RxJS model and tasks in JS; knowledge of service workers is a bonus.
• Proficiency in testing tools.
• Experience with modern SDLC tools such as Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity is a plus.
• Knowledge of backend technologies like Java, Spring, and a desire to grow into backend/full-stack development is a plus.
