IT Operations Expert (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Administration and maintenance of the operational IT infrastructure
• Implementing and maintaining the server infrastructure in the data centers
• Monitoring system stability, availability and performance as well as the stability and availability of interfaces, including data flow and data quality
• Immediate resolution of minor incidents and bugs
• Backup management - restores, data management and troubleshooting
• ITSM process, service improvements and automation
• Creation of KPIs, implementation of IT security controls and inventory management
• Participation in projects to optimize and consolidate our technology stack
• Daily interaction with IT team colleagues from Germany, Finland, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland
• Supporting the Service Desk and Operations departments in resolving incidents
• Co-operation with external parties (hosting partners and IT service providers)
• Documenting the operational processes

Your profile

• You have an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable and at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Hands-on mentality in dealing with a complex IT infrastructure
• Must-have: Very good experience in handling Microsoft Server, Linux Environments, AWS and Azure as a public cloud provider
• Knowledge of container applications (e.g. Docker), Active Directory with Entra ID desirable
• Good understanding of business requirements for robust IT solutions
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Proactive, independent and well-organized way of working with a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to independently process and resolve incoming incidents, create root cause analyses and document defects
