Purpose

This role works closely with business leaders and line managers to achieve organizational objectives and develop employee and team engagement within a culture that promotes wellbeing, fairness, and development opportunities. The goal is to strengthen IDEMIA by ensuring HR-related topics are managed within the local legal and operational frameworks.

Key Missions
  1. Partner with the business and relevant internal stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, reward & recognition, employee performance & development, succession planning, and culture enhancement.
  2. Own and drive the Employee Experience by implementing programs like employee wellness, diversity & inclusion, and talent management.
  3. Collaborate with local management to foster positive employee relations and a healthy working environment.
  4. Manage employee relations issues, including grievances and investigations, and coach managers on handling such issues.
  5. Mediates workplace disputes and legal matters, advocating for effective resolution.
  6. Communicate the value of HR strategies and initiatives, managing the rollout of HR programs to maximize employee engagement and business value.
  7. Oversee administration of annual processes such as Employee Surveys, Performance reviews, and Compensation campaigns.
  8. Support organizational change by addressing people aspects of change initiatives.
  9. Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations, creating and advising on HR policies and processes.
  10. Monitor business operations for compliance with regulations and company values.
  11. Provide HR consulting and coaching to business leaders, addressing people and cultural issues, and ensuring best employment practices.
  12. Act as an employee advocate, ensuring consistent treatment, effective communication, and handling employee issues.
  13. Gather and incorporate employee feedback into HR programs and business decisions.
  14. Participate in personnel costs planning and staff management, with budget and cost center responsibilities for HR in Germany.
Profile & Other Information
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to interact at all organizational levels.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience in project management, change management, and working with works councils.
  • Understanding of legal compliance and employment law.
  • Knowledge of crisis and conflict management techniques.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent, such as vocational training plus relevant training) and at least 3 years of professional experience in human resources.
