Job summary

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be part of the newly established Biamp DACH team and responsible for your own portfolio of clients, who are in need of high-end AV solutions and your key criteria of success is hitting your sales targets while ensuring a great customer experience in the process. You will be working very closely with our main distributor and will be initiating all dialogues with potential customers and then collaborate with the distributor when it comes to closing.

You will be a key member of our DACH Sales team and be working remotely in Germany with a focus on a particular region.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Plan towards, evaluate and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Report, align and provide input to your Sales Director as well as your colleagues in the sales team
  • Collaborating with our distributor and their sales organization to ensure a structured and targeted approach to channel partners.
  • Collaborating with Pre-sales, Sales Support, Marketing and Tech Support to ensure fast and efficient sales processes
  • Plan, coordinate and execute sales processes and ensure continuous follow-up and conversion all the way from contact to signed deal
  • Conduct sales meetings, create business cases and offers
  • Drive your pipeline and maintain pipeline overview in the CRM

Qualifications

  • Experience with both direct sales and partner collaboration
  • At least 2 years of experience within this specific B2B hardware industry (AV, control systems etc.)
  • Proficient in Value-based Selling, Challenger Sales, Command of Message, BANT, MEDDIC / MEDDPIC or any other specific B2B sales framework providing you with a structured approach
  • Great interpersonal and customer communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
