Job Description:

YOUR TASKS:

• Act as a product owner for Grid Code Compliance within Nordex.
• Ensure all requirements are covered with test cases.
• Translate Grid Code requirements into software development processes, including abstracting software requirements and test cases. Participate in agile software development.
• Support Grid Code compliance and connection during sales and project phases.
• Develop test plans for Grid Code compliance and quality assurance at wind farm, turbine, and component levels.
• Perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests.
• Specify new functions and features to maintain and optimize Grid Code compliance on wind farm and turbine levels.
• Maintain a clear understanding of Nordex products to assess Grid Code compliance effectively.
• Optimize processes related to Grid Code compliance.

YOUR PROFILE:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar.
• Experience with Grid Code requirements.
• Experience in defining test cases and test-driven development.
• Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance at power plant and software levels, preferably with wind turbine OEM experience.
• Programming skills in Python or similar for test analysis and automation.
• Self-responsible, structured, customer- and solution-oriented mindset.
• Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or German is a plus.
• Proactive, assertive, and a team player.
