The Helmholtz Association is seeking a Postdoc Scientist for Industrial Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Solar Cells at the Competence Centre Photovoltaics Berlin. Postdoc Scientist (f/m/d) for Industrial Perovskite / Silicon Tandem Solar Cells

Your Tasks
  1. You will design and coordinate experiments as well as perform hands-on lab work for the processing of perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells, mostly using solution-based methods, but also hybrid methods for perovskite deposition.
  2. You will characterize and analyze layers and devices, carry out loss analyses, and guide further experiments.
  3. You will report results and publish them in scientific journals and at conferences.
  4. You might supervise and train students and technicians.
Your Profile
  • PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Background in thin-film and semiconductor physics & technology
  • Experience in solution and/or hybrid processing of perovskite solar cells
  • Technology enthusiast with a focus on (tandem) solar cell device physics
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • Industry experience is welcome
