The HERE Navigation team is building a next-generation, highly customizable embedded navigation product. We are an international team of engineers, designers, and product managers working in an agile environment. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Test Engineer to join our team.

As a Lead Test Engineer in our team, you will:

1. Establish a testing strategy and process for field testing and test automation.
2. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for release cycles.
3. Develop, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality, functionality, and performance standards are met before release.
4. Lead projects and quality initiatives across teams.
5. Have relevant experience in testing and validation of software products.
6. Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and cases to assess quality.
7. Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate across teams to influence design for testability.
8. Execute automated tests, report results, and advocate for quality.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Who are you?

1. Relevant experience in testing and validation of software products.
2. Experience in at least one scripting language (Python, shell, etc.).
3. Experience in at least one programming language (Java, Kotlin).
4. Expertise in defining test plans and designing test cases.
5. Ability to collaborate across functions effectively.
6. Previous experience with Android Automotive systems is a plus.
7. Good understanding of JIRA, Zephyr, and GitLab.
8. Comfort with a variety of open source technologies and tools.
9. Excellent communication skills in English.
