Job Description:

The Aerospace Defense Key Account Field Sales Engineer will manage strategic and operational aspects of key Aerospace and Defense accounts, focusing on customer success to exceed sales goals and ensure profitable growth. Candidates from any part of Germany are encouraged to apply, provided they can travel at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:
  1. Anticipate customer needs, challenge the status quo, analyze underlying causes, and develop short- and long-term solutions to create and lead business plans.
  2. Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  3. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders, utilizing enterprise-wide value selling techniques.
  4. Design and implement strategic business plans with rigorous tactical execution.
  5. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to execute strategies and highlight Keysight’s value proposition.
  6. Manage a pool of internal resources to support customer engagements without direct management authority.
  7. Explore adjacent business opportunities to expand solutions beyond traditional T&M offerings.
  8. Accurately manage a sales funnel with a forward-looking plan over six months.
Key Metrics:
  • Achieve sales quota targets.
  • Grow solutions and services-based opportunities.
  • Manage discounts within targets.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of successful Test & Measurement sales experience, preferably with major Aerospace and Defense accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace Defense industry, its drivers, challenges, and key technologies.
  • Proven track record in large account management, solutions, and services sales.
  • Excellent communication skills for external and internal interactions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • German citizenship and fluency in German are required.
