As an Engineer (f/m/x), you are responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.

Work includes:

1. Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals
2. Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
3. Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
4. Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
5. Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability
6. Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.

Your key responsibilities

1. Build/Manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for both digital and non-digital projects
2. Work closely with development team and release managers to deploy components for multiple releases in multiple environments
3. Work closely with operator team support and drive Infrastructure issues. Be part of the MIM call in case of critical incidents
4. Hands-on experience building on-premise, hybrid and/or cloud infrastructure; especially managing and driving infrastructure (e.g., PaaS Deutsche Bank) related issues
5. Develop and recommend appropriate solutions and services that meet client needs and provide value

Your skills and experiences

1. Proactive personality coupled with strong technical/problem solving capabilities with an ability to quickly adapt to new environments/technologies and provide long-term solutions
2. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
3. Experience in developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
4. Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (GCP, Docker, Container orchestration such as OpenShift, Kubernetes)
