Responsibilities:

You are in one of the most exciting renewable energy markets in a multi-layered function focused on expanding the company's market position – from Business Development until contract conclusion. Due to increasingly closer networking, their business units can ideally take on this newly created position in Cologne or be located at another German location. Below is an outline of the tasks:

  1. Development and continuous maintenance of relationships, especially with existing but also new customers as well as project partners, consultants, agents, etc.
  2. Develop potential projects and obtain all relevant information for internal screening, promotion and focus on projects and contracts.
  3. Creation of budget offers.
  4. Management and responsibility of the proposal team and the proposal project (technical and commercial) from the tender to the conclusion of the contract.
  5. Leading customer or consortium contract negotiations in collaboration with the proposal team.
  6. Development of a marketing strategy and definition of measures for its successful implementation.
  7. Active feedback on current technical trends and market position in relation to products and offers to ensure competitiveness.
  8. Initiation of research and/or development activities to establish new products and improved business and sales processes.
  9. Collaboration and lobbying in areas relevant to market position, associations or institutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Successfully completed studies - ideally with technical as well as economic orientation.
  2. Several years of experience in sales, offer management and project-related management of various functions at international companies' plant construction projects.
  3. Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for technical processes and systems as well as their complex connections.
  4. Good understanding of commercial and contractual concepts in plant engineering.
  5. Good knowledge of the market and its competitive forces.
  6. Excellent moderation and negotiation skills paired with well-founded knowledge of interview techniques and closing confidence.
  7. Business fluent spoken and written German and English; other languages are advantageous.
