What awaits you at Mynaric

1. Experience in operating CNC machines such as milling, turning, and grinding. Additionally, experience in machine setup and running production processes.
2. High level of interest to learn new machines in optics production such as Diamond Turning, Vacuum Coating, and Dimensional Metrology by supporting new product development of precision optics.
3. Perform difficult and complex set-ups and operate machines on assignments, under minimal supervision with guidance from engineering or area supervisor.
4. Ability to read technical drawings and basic exposure to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
5. Ability to record inspection data, labor hours, and job information as required in manufacturing systems.
6. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by following cleaning schedules and inventory control, and adapt to a high-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Experience in manual metrology and inspection equipment with training or experience in state-of-the-art metrology tools.

What you bring with you

1. Vocational degree or apprenticeship in machining or other technical disciplines such as: Industriemechaniker Fachrichtung Feingerätebau (m/w/x), Zerspanungsmechaniker (m/w/x), Feinwerkmechaniker (m/w/x), Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology, or Optics Manufacturing.
2. 3+ years of manual machining or metal fabrication manufacturing experience in industry.
3. A can-do attitude, willing to complete all steps within a defined process with varying complexity and skill levels.
4. Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
5. Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
