About Kita Kinzigstraße

Our day care centre Kinzigstraße (50 children, 3 groups, team of 16 multi-professional educators) works both inclusively and bilingually in accordance with the immersion concept (German and English). Our pedagogical approach is child-centred and focuses on the development of personal characteristics and skills.

In your daily work as an educator, you will have the opportunity to help develop the concept further, set your own pedagogical priorities, and learn with and from each other as part of the team.

We are looking for a pedagogical specialist to join our Kinzig team starting from 01.08.2025.

Aufgaben

The position

• Start: 01.08.2025
• Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Salary: TV-L-oriented
• Company: oXxymoron GmbH (3 inclusive day care centers, family center, creative space, in-house kitchen, facility and management services)

Qualifikation

Your profile

• Relevant education in the pedagogical field, preferably NVQ level 2 / 3 in Early Childhood Education or a university degree (B.A. Early Childhood Education/ B.A. Social Work, etc.)
• If you have a foreign degree, it should be officially recognized by the Berlin Senate. Preferably, you should be able to work as ‘Fachkraft’. Recognition as Quereinsteiger ‘Verwandte Berufsgruppen’/‘Sonstige geeignete Person’/‘Native Speaker’ is also possible.
• English skills at native speaker level or at least C1, and German skills (B2 level or higher, certified)
• Interest and/or practical experience in Special Needs Education / Inclusive Work
• Self-initiative, creativity, and team contribution
