To strengthen our Practice Hybrid Cloud, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Solution Architect Database Solutions (all genders) to join us at one of our locations, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the sales team during the presales phase
2. Handling tenders in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments
3. Understanding customer requirements and developing solutions considering the IT lifecycle (Plan, Build, Operate)
4. Presenting and explaining our solution portfolio to management, especially for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure & Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS)
5. Creating technical foundations for proposals (SOW), including hardware/software costs and services
6. Assisting in preparing offers and tenders
7. Managing Proof of Concepts
8. Developing architecture concepts
9. Deriving optimal Oracle and PostgreSQL database architecture solutions for on-premise and cloud deployments
10. Conducting workshops and webcasts on database topics for clients and sales teams

Your profile:

1. Technical or business studies with a technical focus or comparable qualification
2. Several years of presales experience
3. Experience with tenders in the public sector
4. Proven expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL database management
5. Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL architectures in on-premise and cloud environments from major providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle)
6. Analytical skills and social competence
7. Responsibility and reliability
8. Proficiency in German and English (minimum C1)
9. Independent and structured working style
10. Willingness for continuous learning and onboarding new topics
11. Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially at management level (C-Level)
12. Willingness to travel (50%)
