Java-Developer (m/f/d) for Hospital Information System - Temporary Position (12 months)

Getinge IT Solutions GmbH is seeking a Java-Developer to join their development team in Hamburg. The role involves developing and maintaining our product, myMedis/Torin, a flexible Hospital Information System designed to optimize clinical and administrative workflows.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop, extend, and maintain features for our Java-based solution
• Work as a full-stack developer, covering UI, business logic, and database tasks
• Participate in Scrum activities and collaborate with the Product Owner on requirements
• Conduct development and release testing
• Prepare documentation and provide third-level support
• Estimate tasks and develop technical concepts

Your profile:

• Degree in Informatics, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience in Java application development; Swing knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with clean code and design patterns
• Basic SQL knowledge (MS-SQL)
• Experience with development tools like Microsoft DevOPS, GIT, Eclipse, Sonar
• Team player with Scrum experience, quality-oriented, independent, and reliable
• Good English skills; German language skills are a plus
