Welcome to Guidehouse’s Europe and Middle East (EME) public sector (PS) team within our global Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure segment (ES&I). With more than 700 consultants, ES&I is the largest energy and sustainability consulting team worldwide. We collaborate with utilities, energy companies, large corporations, product manufacturers, and investors to thrive in a rapidly changing energy environment. Our PS team focuses on governments like the European Commission and the German government, managing high-level projects that support making society climate neutral as soon as possible. What You Will Do :

1. Join our team to work on projects that accelerate the green energy transition nationally and globally.
2. Address key aspects of the energy transition, including investment frameworks for clean energy, renewable energy integration, sector coupling, decarbonization in industry, and hydrogen value chain development.
3. Support project implementation through structured policy analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
4. Work on projects for public institutions and industry clients at national, EU, and international levels.
5. Build relationships within Guidehouse and with clients, upholding our values of respect, integrity, innovation, stewardship, and excellence, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture.

What You Will Need :

1. Effective team-player with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and levels.
2. Passion for sustainability, innovation, and energy transition, with critical thinking, attention to detail, positivity, and creativity.
3. Ability to work independently and proactively, efficiently managing multiple projects.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Master’s degree or similar in energy, environmental, electrical engineering, policy, economics, or social sciences, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
6. Knowledge of energy technologies, market trends, and mechanisms is advantageous.
7. Proficiency in English; fluency in German is important. Additional languages are a plus.
8. Willingness to travel and work internationally occasionally.
