Job Description:

We are looking for you, an Application Engineer (m/f/diverse), to support the Precision Sealing Solutions (PSS) in our Business Area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at the location Northeim.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

• Execution and monitoring of project-specific development activities within product application engineering
• Development of products according to customer specifications
• Execution of the technical, project-specific customer service
• Acquisition of new projects in cooperation with the sales department
• Completion of all deliverables for Application Engineering specified within the project management system (Quality Gate System)
• Documentation of all project activities of Application Engineering in the project management system PLANISWARE
• Elaborating/evaluating feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multidisciplinary teams
• Support for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 10-90
• Analyzing and improving existing products
• Support of sales and project management in customer service

Requirements include an academic degree in Engineering or equivalent, several years of experience in the automotive industry including customer interaction, knowledge about OESL related products in design, production, testing, experience in research and development as a product development engineer, design engineer or project manager, and strong communication skills in English and German. Ability to work independently, willingness to travel, and experience in international and intercultural environments are also required.
