Accountant – Merchandise Payables (m/f/d)

As part of the ABOUT YOU FINANCE division, the accounting team takes care of the accounting of all business transactions in accordance with HGB (German Gaap) and IFRS. This provides the data basis for internal and external reporting. Another area of responsibility is financial accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable management as well as merchandise accounting. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the digitalization and continuous development of accounting processes.

As our new Junior Accountant – Merchandise (Accounts Payable) (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the processing of business transactions in accounts payable and financial accounting, as well as the further development of the underlying business transactions and work together with a young and committed team.

Responsiblities

Processing of various business transactions in accounts payable and financial accounting

• Support in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements according to IFRS and HGB (German gaap)
• Process management of accounts payable as well as identification of optimization potentials in process handling with our ERP Systems Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION and SAP 4HANA
• Support in our accounting-tech processes as well as interfaces management of our various ERP and accounting tools
• General support in mailboxes, open items clarification and supplier communication

Requirements

Completed training as a certified accountant or comparable qualification

• 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an e-commerce environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Navision 18, SAP 4HANA knowledge would be a plus
• Affinity for tech topics/processes
• Strong analytical skills and structured process thinking
• Independent, proactive way of working and very good communication skills
• Good command of English
