WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will establish and lead the implementation of the global supply chain for the NAS battery factories. Your responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring reliable supply of raw materials through qualification and development of the global supply chain.
2. Managing supplier product and process quality (QMS, APQP, Six Sigma, Lean).
3. Overseeing supplier series production and delivery assurance (problem solving, capacity management, delivery reliability, part quality, and conformity).
4. Supporting new supplier launches, including quality and risk assessment audits.
5. Managing supplier qualification with standards and certification compliance (ISO 9001, DIN, VDA, QEHS, UL, etc.).
6. Monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
7. Supporting new product launches, supplier readiness, and risk management.
8. Leading supplier task forces and managing projects to ensure successful launches and operations.
9. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction measures.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Completed studies in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Solid work experience in automotive manufacturing, battery manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Deep knowledge of product development and industrialization processes.
• Ability to achieve tangible and sustainable results in a target-oriented manner.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills and a passion for contributing to sustainable solutions to mitigate climate change.
