IT Support Engineer – Großwallstadt, Germany (Onsite)

Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to resolve faults in an industrial environment.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees experiencing IT issues, offering prompt solutions.
- Monitor and improve desktop infrastructure performance.
- Develop and implement industry-specific IT solutions and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and device issues.
- Manage installation, configuration, and usability of desktop hardware and software.
- Support client technologies, including troubleshooting Exchange and managing directory accounts.
- Resolve network connectivity issues, including ISP circuits, wireless, switches, firewalls, and telephony.
- Implement and support remote access solutions such as VPN.
- Escalate issues as needed and communicate effectively with users about incident status and planned changes.
- Monitor network performance and address throughput issues.
- Maintain IT asset tracking and supervise maintenance.
- Provide training and guidance on computer operations and software applications.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of IT products, solutions, and trends.
- Experience supporting a range of technologies, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, hardware, and mobile devices.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
- Fluent in German and English.
