Qualifikationen

As specialists in stationary flow batteries, we cover all application areas of stationary battery storage systems with our multi-technological approach, contributing significantly to the energy transition.

To keep our big project moving forward, I am currently looking for a

Lab Technician Battery Development (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  1. Conduct tests to characterize and evaluate new battery materials, including routine battery cell assembly, electrolyte preparation, chemical compatibility, and electrochemical performance.
  2. Calibrate, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including electrochemical test stations.
  3. Collaborate with R&D colleagues to implement tests and procedures.
  4. Ensure compliance with good laboratory practice, including documentation and occupational safety.
  5. Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports for internal use and regulatory compliance.
  6. Manage inventories of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and consumables.

Requirements

  1. Completed training as a laboratory assistant (e.g., chemistry/physics, CTA) or a bachelor's degree in chemistry or physics with at least 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in R&D.
  2. Familiarity with electrochemical and analytical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, titrations, UV/VIS spectroscopy, etc.
  3. Experience with lab-related software and Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  5. A positive “can-do” attitude.
  6. Practical experience with batteries and/or fuel cells is advantageous.
