Jobbeschreibung

Grow, identify, and seek revenue from all segmentations assigned in territory on behalf of Oman Air.

  1. Achieve & exceed the allocated sales targets set out by the Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager for the assigned territory.
  2. Identify customer needs to initiate a win/win scenario using effective negotiation techniques.
  3. Develop solutions within the territory to increase revenue for Oman Air.
  4. Apply a ROI mindset to assess the true value of partnerships to Oman Air's business (cost-conscious approach).
  5. Lead and activate proposed methods of ancillary revenue campaigns for the assigned territory.
Area of Responsibility

Operational:

General Business and Clients

  1. Achieve assigned sales targets and be accountable for results within the territory.
  2. Identify potential opportunities and set action plans to generate new business streams.
  3. Create an account development plan to increase revenue streams.
  4. Analyze the customer base, identify, grow, and develop revenue using appropriate actions within company guidelines and policies.
  5. Identify opportunities to increase ancillary revenue streams for Oman Air.
  6. Be the 'owner' of web revenue streams in the territory.
  7. Maintain a cost-centric approach favoring low-cost distribution models (NDC) for revenue generation.
  8. Adopt a mindset shift towards direct distribution channels (NDC/Web/Mobile/Call Center).

Customer Relationship Management

  1. Negotiate with key territory partners to activate commercial objectives and maximize business partnerships.
  2. Service business in the territory to resolve issues impacting revenue streams, in line with company policy and procedures.
  3. Lead as the advisor within the territory on Oman Air developments for continuity and growth.
  4. Manage PLBs and incentive schemes in the respective territory.

Support and Assistance

  1. Provide timely product support and communicate progress and recommendations within the territory.
  2. Collaborate with inter-departmental stakeholders to initiate solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
  3. Support marketing events and initiatives within the assigned territory.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  5. Support internal guidelines and processes for actions within the territory.

Reports

  1. Prepare sales plans aligned with regional strategic goals and management directives.
  2. Provide weekly and other periodic reports as requested by management.
  3. Update management regularly on competitive activities.
  4. Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Education, Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Fresh Bachelor’s degree in any discipline OR
  • College diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the airline or travel industry.

Special Skills & Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Technical GDS knowledge; understanding of NDC preferred.
  • Experience with airline data tools such as BSP / MIDT.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • IATA Basic Ticketing and Reservation knowledge.
  • Extensive contact base and experience negotiating with corporate travel businesses.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to identify opportunities using data sets and in-house tools.
