The Role
In this role, you will be an integral part of the global AB Enzymes IT Team and work closely with our Business Technology Partner in the UK. You will be responsible for IT Service Management, laying the foundation for our strategic focus on “IT Service & Operations”.
You will be based in Darmstadt, part of the IT team, reporting to the Global Head of IT.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT processes and services.
- Provide administrative management and support for global IT service delivery.
- Enhance ticket quality and handle escalations.
- Collaborate across teams to document IT processes and policies.
- Improve service channels and IT ticket management systems.
- Create and maintain support processes.
- Assist the Head of IT with governance, audits, and asset/license reviews.
- Manage user communications and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate with IT suppliers, manage contracts, and collaborate with our Business Technology Partner.
- Support software and application management within the service area.
- Participate in the implementation of core technology projects with the global IT team and partners.
About You
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Service Management or relevant apprenticeship in IT engineering or business.
- Passionate about service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Deep understanding of service management principles and frameworks, especially ITIL.
- Good knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Experience in IT project management.
- Strong organizational skills to structure work and processes efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to think cross-functionally to find optimal solutions for the company.
- Motivated to make a meaningful impact on our business operations.
- Fluent in English.
