We are seeking a Senior Technical Operations Specialist to join our Control Room team. You will play a crucial role in managing ongoing escalations and investigations, ensuring effective communication with partners and management during issue resolution, designing new operational workflows, and guaranteeing the seamless operation of all company products.

What you will do :

  1. Operational Ownership : Take full responsibility for high-level monitoring of the company’s operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  2. Incident Management & Resolution : Lead the management of escalations and incidents, driving quick resolutions to minimize business impact.
  3. Problem-Solving & Innovation : Conduct detailed technical investigations and collaborate on designing solutions for complex challenges to enhance system performance.
  4. Data-Driven Insights : Use data analysis to validate hypotheses, uncover insights, and identify opportunities for operational optimization and incident prevention.
  5. Strategic Project Leadership : Support and lead strategic and operational projects that influence the company's direction and efficiency.
  6. Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify and implement improvements in products and technical systems from an operational perspective.
  7. Tool & Process Development : Collaborate with the operations team to develop, implement, and refine tools and workflows that enhance efficiency.
  8. Effective Communication : Manage internal and external communications, ensuring seamless issue resolution and transparent updates across teams.

We are a remote-first, globally present company headquartered in Berlin. We prefer to hire someone based in Berlin, Germany.

Who you are :

  1. You have at least 3+ years of experience in similar roles, such as 2nd and 3rd level technical support, IT analyst, or monitoring roles.
  2. You can successfully identify root causes of incidents and provide high-level analysis of solution designs.
  3. You possess a product-oriented mindset, focusing on long-term risk prevention and mitigation strategies.
  4. You are comfortable investigating complex SQL queries and relational databases.
  5. You can develop strategies to predict, prevent, and resolve potential technical and operational issues.
  6. Experience with monitoring tools like Jira, Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic is a significant plus.
  7. You can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing disruptions.
  8. Your English is fluent, and you can simplify complex concepts clearly.
  9. You are analytical, independent, and tech-savvy.
  10. You thrive in fast-paced environments with frequent context switching.
