Job Description:

OUR VISION

When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in.

That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Can you imagine diving into the development of the software and components that run our innovative mobile indoor mapping system, operated by companies in more than 25 countries worldwide?

Are you curious about working with embedded software as well as a great variety of release channels (embedded software, desktop software)? If you are eager to work with both - software and hardware - you might be the person for this challenge!

You will join the Mapping and Perception Team and collaborate closely with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, who share a passion for delivering top-class mapping solutions that aim to digitize physical spaces through creating photorealistic digital twins.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Creating and developing state-of-the-art software testing methodologies and processes to assure and improve our product quality
  • Carrying out manual tests for software releases, including release on devices and processing software on Linux-based desktops and cloud
  • Planning, designing, and developing test strategies, dashboards, and reports for high-quality, frequent releases
  • Supporting the development team in high-quality work and testing
  • Validating bugs systematically, analyzing data, and interpreting test results
  • Prioritizing, debugging, and monitoring bugs to accelerate development in a fast-paced environment
  • Reducing manual testing through automation
  • Communicating and collaborating with support and service teams

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • Strong communication skills for seamless cross-functional collaboration
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in test execution and quality assurance processes
  • Experience with Linux and command line
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn embedded software and various release channels
  • Fluency in English

Would be an added benefit:

  • Knowledge in test automation using scripting languages
  • ISTQB certification
  • Experience in software development (e.g., C++)
  • Background in computer engineering, science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related fields

HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH

Your recruiting partner for this role is Rina (she/her). The process includes screening, up to 3 interviews, where we explore your passion, introduce our culture, and see how we can grow together.

HOW WE WILL KEEP YOU SMILING

  • 30 days paid time off per year
  • Flexible hours and hybrid work setup
  • Full visa and relocation support for international candidates
  • Sustainable mobility benefits via JobRad
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Up to €4000 employee referral bonus
  • Support for local language classes
