Skeleton's Commercial Department is seeking a Senior Sales Manager - Grid (m/f/x)
This role focuses on driving new business growth within the grid industry by managing the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation—while collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutions. The candidate will also maintain an accurate sales pipeline, contribute strategic market insights, and negotiate contracts to support long-term customer success.
Your responsibility areas:
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the grid industry, managing the sales process from prospecting to contract signing.
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline in Salesforce, documenting all activities and customer interactions.
- Update and report on pipeline status regularly, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting.
- Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Application Engineering, and Finance to ensure smooth onboarding, order fulfillment, and revenue recognition.
- Provide technical consultations to customers, explaining product capabilities and value propositions related to grid infrastructure.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats, contributing to strategic positioning and product development.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure mutually beneficial business engagements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience working with energy providers, integrators, or related organizations in the grid industry.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in a customer-facing role, preferably selling complex technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of electrical grid infrastructure, power systems, and energy storage solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, including pipeline management and sales forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Highly organized, self-driven, results-oriented, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.
