You will play an exciting role in our 3rd Level Server Management Team within our international Cloud Infrastructure department. Innovative technologies and projects, along with agile working methods, are integral parts of your responsibilities. We offer you a structured onboarding through our mentorship program, knowledge transfer within the team, and regular professional and soft skills training.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Providing L3 support for large-scale cloud and virtualized environments, especially for OpenStack (Compute and Storage), NetApp storage solutions, VMware ESXi, and KVM hypervisors.
2. Supporting Kubernetes microservices, ensuring proper orchestration, scalability, and maintenance of containerized applications.
3. Managing and maintaining NetApp storage systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimized performance.
4. Managing critical applications via SAP PlusOne and ensuring smooth integration and performance in cloud environments.
5. Using Prometheus for system monitoring, proactive issue resolution, and infrastructure health checks.
6. Handling escalated incidents, service requests, and operational issues in compliance with SLAs.
7. Managing change requests and deployments following best practices, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
8. Performing capacity planning, system upgrades, and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of cloud and virtualized environments.
9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate incident resolution and infrastructure changes, ensuring effective communication throughout the support process.

What we expect from you:

• Professional experience in system administration or IT support, ideally at the 3rd level support.
• Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS administration.
• Completed IT-related training, e.g., IT specialist for system integration.
• Experience in virtualization (e.g., VMware) and/or scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl) is desirable.
• Experience with OpenStack Compute (Nova), Storage (Cinder/Swift) and cloud operations support.
• Knowledge of NetApp storage systems, VMware ESXi, and KVM hypervisors.
• Experience with Kubernetes microservices and automation scripts (Python, Bash).
• Willingness to work in shifts (day and evening shifts, no night shifts) and occasional weekend maintenance.
• Excellent proficiency in German and English.
• Self-responsible, structured working style, analytical skills, communication ability, and team spirit.
