We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc scientist (f/m/x) with extensive expertise in electrophysiology to join the international research team “Astrocyte-Neuron Networks” led by Prof. Dr. Cristina García Cáceres at the
Institute for Diabetes and Obesity (IDO)
of the Helmholtz Diabetes Center (HDC)
in Munich. You will develop and establish an experimental setup to study the glia-neuronal network in the brain, focusing on its role in the regulation of energy metabolism.
If you fulfill all the requirements, you may be eligible for a salary grade of up to E 13. Social benefits are based on the Collective Wage Agreement for Public-Sector Employees (TVöD). The position is initially fixed-term for 2 years but may be extended.
