Job Description

We are hiring a full-time licensed insurance sales representative for our Commercial Insurance desk at an insurance agency. Responsibilities

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Acquire new clients by selling Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Life Insurance, and Commercial insurance, along with other available products.
  • Identify sales opportunities, prospect potential customers, and effectively close sales.
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting, rating, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Uphold a strong work ethic with a commitment to success every day.
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure successful and satisfying customer relations.
  • Meet daily phone time and sales quotas as directed by management.
  • Complete company and regulatory educational/training requirements promptly.

Requirements

  • PA Property and Casualty license
  • PA Life and Health license
  • MD Property and Casualty license (or ability to obtain)
  • MD Life and Health license (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to handle customer rejection
  • Self-confident and self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background/credit check
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
  • Resilience in handling rejection, setbacks, and challenges in sales
