Somatex, a Hologic company, is seeking an experienced Manager, Manufacturing Engineering & Technical Operations to join our team in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Translate design concepts into manufacturing processes.
• Manage manufacturing and performance of assigned product lines.
• Develop and implement capital projects from identification through startup and commissioning.
• Implement and monitor corrective actions to reduce defects and streamline manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between R&D, Operations, Purchasing, Distribution, and Logistics.
• Lead multiple programs effectively in a technical leadership role.

Minimum Requirements

• Deep knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and cost-reduction techniques (e.g., TQM, Lean, Six Sigma, DFM).
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership and coaching abilities for engineering teams.
